Does my dog have to be neutured or spayed for daycare or boarding?
Yes, because of the potential increased behaviour problems that may occur with other guest dogs we cannot accept dogs that have not been neutered or spayed.
When am I expected to pay?
For home boarding we ask for a 50% deposit when you make your booking, the remaining fee is due at the start of care.
For ongoing daycare,walks and visits you will be invoiced either fortnightly or monthly. For occasional walks and visits, payment is required before service starts.
We accept cash and cheques and bank transfer.
What time can I drop off/collect my pet?
For Home Boarding you can drop your pet off anytime after 8am and can collect anytime up to 6pm or by prior agreement. Please let us know your time of arrival or collection in case we are out on a walk. If you collect your pet before 10 a.m there is no charge for that day.
For daycare, drop off time is after 8 a.m and pick up before 6 p.m. unless prior arrangements have been made.
What happens if my pet is ill while I'm on holiday?
We will attempt to contact you in the first instance. Your pet will be taken to your vet if possible, in the event that we can't we will take them to either Johnstons Veterinarian Hospital or Swanspool Veterinary Centre in Wellingborough. All veterinary fees are your responsibility. Please advise your veterinarian that your pet will be in our care during your absence.
Will my dog kept on a lead when out for a walk?
Our insurance insists that we must have written consent from you before we are allowed to let your dog(s) off the lead. We will only let your dog off lead with specific instructions from you to do so and we are totally confident in their recall.This will only be done away from roads.
What will I need to bring with my pet for home boarding?
For dogs we will need to see evidence that it has been vaccinated, otherwise your dog(s) cannot be considered for home boarding or daycare.This is a legal requirement of our licence conditions. By law all dogs must have a collar with identification. We will also place a Love Fur Pets i.d. tag with our number on your dogs collar while in our care.

What if I cancel my booking?
We request a 50% deposit on all bookings for home boarding which is NON-REFUNDABLE if cancelled 14 days or less prior to boarding.
A 24 hour notice is required if you need to cancel day care for your dog(s). Failure to give notice will result in a 50% day care charge.
