Love Fur Pets strives to provide services in a manner that is trustworthy, caring and dependable. Every measure will be taken to ensure the safety of your pet. Love Fur Pets is fully covered with Public Liability, Care Custody and Control and Loss of Key insurance through Cliverton
The client's agreement with Love Fur Pets is conditional upon a mutually satisfactory meeting between the client, with their dog(s) taking place in our home prior to boarding/daycare or the owner's home for pet visits and walks.
Boarding: To secure your booking we require a 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve your pet’s place. A booking is not 100% confirmed until the registration form and deposit has been received. The remainder of payment to the carer will be due at the start of boarding.
Dog Day Care: A 24 hour notice is required if you need to cancel day care for your dog(s). This is due to limited space that may otherwise be offered to another if notice is given and to schedule my other pet care work. If cancelling day care for a Monday please notify me on a Friday so that your pet’s place can be offered to another over the weekend. Failure to give notice will result in a charge of 50% day care charge.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
* You will be required to sign a veterinary form, this will give the Love Fur Pets authorisation to obtain medical treatment for your pet if necessary. Please contact your veterinarian to advise them you give consent in your absence for your pet's treatment.Love Fur Pets will make every effort to contact you in the event of an emergency. However, we reserve the right to make decisions regarding your pet’s health provided it is at all times acting in the best interests of the pet and on the advice of a veterinary surgeon. If your pet becomes unwell, has an accident or injures itself or seems to be in any type of pain we may need to take him to a veterinary surgeon. You will be responsible for payment of all the veterinarian fees incurred and/or special dietary needs.
* Delivery and collection dates /times must be adhered to as we may have other bookings. If a booking needs to be extended for any reason clients must notify us as soon as possible.
* All guests must have a completed up to date questionnaire on file at all times
* The client will present the dog for boarding/daycare in a clean condition, free from fleas and dewormed,with up to date vaccinations, (A current vaccination certificate must be brought at the time of booking in)
* Sufficient food and supplies must be left with the carer for the duration of the stay. Any additional supplies that are purchased by the carer must be reimbursed by the client when they collect their pet(s)..
* Client agrees to provide Love Fur Pets with full and detailed information about their pet(s). In particular, but not limited to, behavioural or health matters, anti-social behaviour, aggression, separation anxiety, destructive behaviour, excessive pulling on the lead, propensity to run away on walks or from the home/garden, incontinence, phobias or fears, excessive loud barking or whining etc. We have the right to cancel or refuse any booking if we feel your pet is unsuitable for home boarding/daycare or may cause injury to carer/ other animals.
* Should the dog(s) show aggressive behaviour to their carer, the carer's family, carer’s pet, other people, or their behaviour becomes uncontrollable or a nuisance beyond reasonable acceptance, the dog(s) will be placed in an alternative safe environment and any additional costs including a £20 transfer fee, will be met by the client. The client further agrees that if their dog attacks, or is involved in a fight with another dog, (and/or person) causing injury to that dog (or person) they will be responsible for any losses incurred as a result including, but not limited to, payment of veterinary fees in respect of injuries to another animal caused by their dog.
* We cannot accept dogs with a history or that is aggressive toward other animals or people.
* We cannot accept dogs that are unpredictable and dangerous.
* We cannot accept dogs that are boisterous indoors.
* We cannot accept dogs that are not spayed or neutered
* All dogs must wear a collar and ID badge whilst in our care.
* Unless otherwise agreed, your dog will be exercised on a flexi-lead. If the client wishes the carer to exercise their dog off lead, they must sign an off-lead instruction on the registration form, under which the client accepts responsibility for third party liability
* The client will indemnify Love Fur Pets against all costs for damages arising, (other than normal wear and tear), from any act by the client’s dog whilst in our care, including damage to carpets and furnishings by defecation, urinating or chewing.
* Client will collect their pet promptly at the end of the agreed boarding period and at that time pay any outstanding charges. If any pet is not collected, or the owner or emergency contact have not contacted Love Fur Pets within 7 days after the due collection date stated on the booking form, it will be considered that the pet has been abandoned and Love Fur Pets reserves the right to place the pet with an animal charity. Any costs incurred will be the responsibility of the owner.
* Love Fur Pets is not responsible for any damage to property of the client or others unless such damage is caused by neglect.
* Love Fur Pets accepts no responsibility for security of the premises or loss if other individuals have access to a client’s home, or if the home is not properly secured.
* Love Fur Pets is not liable for any loss or damage in the event a burglary or other crimes that should occur while under this contract.
* Client agrees to secure home prior to leaving the premises. Love Fur Pets will re-secure the home to the best of its ability at the end of each visit.
* Client is responsible for pet-proofing house and garden, and the security fences/gates/latches. Love Fur Pets will not be responsible for the safety of any pets and will also not be liable for the death, injury, disappearance, or legal consequences of any pet with unsupervised access to the outdoors.
* This contract permits Love Fur Pets to accept all future telephone, online, mail or email reservations and provide service without additional signed legal considerations agreements.
* The client expressly relinquishes any and all claims except those arising from negligence.
* Client agrees to discuss any concerns with Love Fur Pets within 24 hours of return after service
* By confirming a booking the client is in agreement with these terms and conditions.
